It's been more than a month since my last post. What's happened since my last post? I've been promoted at work. There was a 60 day trial for the new position for several of us. It's official and the raise is in effect. (Not sayin' how much :P). I also got a new computer. I've strayed from AMD back to Intel. Got a dual core 3GHz chip and a 1GB video card. Quite a step up from my single core Barton overclocked to just above 2GHz and my 256MB video card. I moved the video card and all the RAM I could fit into Mrs. splorp!'s system.

Since I got my new system and plugged the extra stuff into hers, I installed the Quake 4 demo onto both systems. Her dad runs a server periodically and we jumped in. I, of course, select "splorp!" as my handle. She started out with "Spike" but I had a better idea. I've called her "Cute little blonde girl" for quite a while. I had her change her name to that. What could be more humilating than being killed by a "Cute little blonde girl" in a FPS? Unfortunately, since she was ahead of me every game, I need to figure that out.

On my Blogspot blog , I put up a couple links to my articles posted here (Predatory Lending and How to improve your credit scores) because I feel they are important enough to mention again. Plus, it gives me a chance to brag about my scores.(;<

She passed away on 12/20/04.
