I was off work yesterday, but not for fun. Mrs. splorp! and I went to the funeral services for her grandfather, Chuck. Since he was an honorably discharged veteran, he qualified for a military honor guard. It was the first time I was at one of those functions in person. They did the whole playing of Taps and flag-folding ceremony.

I've finished all my Xmas shopping. I may throw up some pictures after Xmas day. For now, here's my father-in-law's front yard.

To the left, you’ll see Drusilla,
the Vampire Parakeet, named after
a character on Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
because she bit like a vampire.
She passed away on 12/20/04.
