After spending three and a half years with Countrywide, I moved on in March of this year. With recent news reports, it looks like my timing couldn't have been better. While I appreciate the knowledge I acquired working for the largest mortgage company in the country, I saw the developing problem more than two years ago.

My wife actually bumped into my current job on a web posting. They were looking for a person with customer service and technical support experience with HTML and CSS knowledge. When Mrs. splorp! emailed me the job information, I thought it was a joke. With my experience, this job looked like it had been created for me. Tomorrow is Mrs. splorp!'s birthday. Thus ends the three weeks per year when my age is 10 years greater than hers. Yeah, that's right. Got me a trophy wife. :) And she's smart, too! What the hell did I do to get so lucky?

I was talking to my dad today and he forwarded me some pictures from my cousin. Apparently, he (my cousin) is friends with the brother of someone famous. Check out the pictures here!
